New iine of tools feature lithium-ion batteries that offer 70% more cycles per charge .Rockford, IL Greenlee, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) has replaced its entire line of battery-powered sony VGP-BPL2 battery， sony VGP-BPS2 battery， sony VGP-BPS2A batterycrimping tools with a new line of lithium-ion powered tools. All these new tools in the line function IntelliCRIMP (TM), a pressure sensor that tells the end user with both a visual and audible signal when the crimping force is below the details for a successful crimp.
“When the electricians and utility workers expect the required amount of crimping force, they must be sure that what they’re getting to meet the specifications,” said Jim Eisele, senior product manager. “This new feature allows IntelliCRIMP they know just that”
Most of the new tool models also have a new feature called “Automatic Stop retraction (ARS), which drives the ram just enough to get ready for the next cycle, which saves time and energy. ECCXL and E12CCXL tool models have Retraction Stop Repeat (RSR), which can undo the operators to partially profile finance the ram and then the tool again later for a recovery crimps.
The LED light allows the operator to charge the battery and tool maintenance status, and also offers a light for the work at night or in dark rooms.
The new line of Greenlee tools with new state-of-the-art 18V Lithium-ion (Li-Ion) come batteries that provide 70% more cycles per charge. Li-Ion batteries weight about half as much as a similar NiMH battery and they do not lose their charge if they are not used. Smart Chargers control the charge current, charge voltage and temperature of the battery to maximize battery life.
All the new tools in the line have improved balance and a sticky about shaped handle so that it easier to hold and use.
And, of course, made connections with the most tools are UL and cUL Classified, when brands with 7 color-coded cable lugs and connectors, while using the most competitive tools, UL approval with only one connection mark.
