Fujitsu announced to recall three types of overheating laptop batteries

Beijing Morning News December 15, according to foreignVGP-BPS9, , VGP-BPS9/B,  VGP-BPS9/S , VGP-BPS9A,  VGP-BPS9A/B media reports, Fujitsu, Monday announced the recall from April 2007 to June 2009 were sold during the part of the AMILO notebook computer batteries.
The recall involves models AMILO Pa2510, Pi2512 and Pi2515, all other AMILO, AMILO Pro and LIFEBOOK notebook computer batteries are not affected.

Several users have reported previously that notebook computer batteries overheating, and a fire risk, Fujitsu subsequently decided to implement this recall program. Fully taking into battery account customer satisfaction and safety problems, Fujitsu will provide the affected customers free of charge a new battery, and recommends affected users to remove the laptop battery, notebook using the AC power supply until you receive a new battery.
